Holistic Housing Program
Jubilee’s 2-year transitional housing program takes a holistic approach to working with you on your goals. We start by assessing where you are in a series of key development areas. Together we identify areas for growth that are in alignment with your goals. We can help you overcome barriers, build resiliency, and maintain long-term stability—and we will walk with you along the way.
Case Management
One of the benefits of Jubilee’s transitional housing program is a chance to work with an on-site case manager—an experienced professional who is here to support, coach, and advocate for you. Case managers also connect you with resources and opportunities to achieve your goals.
Employment Preparation
In our expensive Seattle area market, a minimum-wage worker cannot afford the average two-bedroom apartment. Jubilee’s program focuses on employment preparation for a living wage career. Jubilee’s case manager can help you brush up on skills in computer use, interviewing, resume and cover letter writing, and communication. You may take job training courses or pursue higher education to prepare for your future—and your chance to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty for good.
Savings Program
Jubilee’s case management program includes money management resources like debt relief and budgeting assistance. If you qualify, you will also have the opportunity to be a part of Jubilee’s Momentum Match Savings Program where you are rewarded for saving your own money. Jubilee provides a 1:1 match, matching your savings up to $2,000, upon graduation from the program.
Building a Community
Many women come to Jubilee lacking a sense of connection. When you live in the community at Jubilee, you will build relationships with women who understand what it is like to experience and move past homelessness. You will also develop valuable life skills as you learn to get along with a diverse community.
Transitional Housing Program
Jubilee’s 2-year transitional housing program gives you the stability and time you need to heal, grow, and rebuild. At our three residence in Capitol Hill, you will find safe and affordable housing, learning opportunities, employment preparation, and guidance from you case manager as you work toward your goals.

We know it can take time to heal from trauma before you are ready to take next steps in your journey of growth and change. Jubilee’s program gives you the time and support to stabilize and rebuild your life.
Stable Housing
When you move in to a Jubilee residence, you have peace of mind knowing you are in a safe and dignified environment. Jubilee’s affordable community housing features comfortable common spaces including a living room, kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, computer lab, laundry room, and yard. This is balanced with a private bedroom for each participant – your own personal space.

Want to tour Jubilee and apply in person? Stop by Jubilee’s main office (620 18th Ave E) for drop-in applicant sessions on Thursdays 11am to 2pm. All in one visit, you can tour the home, ask questions, fill out application paperwork, and interview.
Jubilee might be the right program for me if:
I am an adult individual who identifies as female
I am currently residing in King County
I am experiencing homelessness or at risk for homelessness, domestic or sexual violence survivor, inpatient treatment graduate, reentering society after incarceration or living in unsuitable environment
I have a monthly income in the range of $650 to $2,750 ($7,800 to $33,000 annually)
I am clean and sober at the time of entry and am willing to remain clean and sober for the duration of my stay
Financially I am able to pay:
A $100 deposit when I enter the program
If my monthly income is $1,000 - $2,750, pay program fees of $150 per month for the first three months (months 1-3), $300 per month for the next three months (months 4-6), and $500 per month after that (months 7-24). OR If my monthly income is $650 - $999, pay program fees of $100 per month for the first three months (months 1-3), $200 per month for the next three months (months 4-6), and $300 per month after that (months 7-24). This income tier and its associated program fees are currently being offered on a pilot basis, with limited availability.

Waitlist
Expected wait time varies. While waiting we encourage you to contact Community Information by dialing 211, 800.621.4632, or visiting www.211.org to ask about Coordinated Entry for All. We will send you a notification when you are added to the waiting list. We will also notify you if you are not placed on the waitlist. Please contact us if your phone, email, or address change.
Informational Overview
If you qualify for the program, we will contact you for an informational overview call when your name reaches the top of the list.
Free Clothing Boutique
Jubilee’s free clothing boutique is a longstanding and vital resource for any woman with low income in our area. Gently used clothing and accessory donations are carefully processed and presented in a modern, welcoming setting that resembles a clothing store.

Alumnae
We encourage program graduates to stay connected and take advantage of the free services available through Jubilee. When program participants successfully complete Jubilee’s program they are always welcome back to visit, use the computer lab, take job and life skills classes, or shop for clothes at the boutique. We strongly encourage our alumnae to stay connected and take advantage of the services available at Jubilee.
