Transitional Housing Program Application

Led by the guiding principle that women of all races and cultures are to be treated with respect and dignity, Jubilee provides programs and services that empower women to make positive life changes.

In this 2-year program, each participant is provided with a furnished room with a twin bed and access to a shared private bathroom. Additionally, participants have access to a community washer/dryer, kitchen with individual food storage, community Wi-Fi & TV, computers, the free clothing boutique, and beautiful indoor and outdoor living spaces.

Jubilee might be the right program for me if I:

  • Am an adult individual who identifies as female
  • Am a resident of King County
  • Am experiencing homelessness or at risk for homelessness, domestic or sexual violence survivor, inpatient treatment graduate, reentering society after incarceration or living in unsuitable environment.
  • I have a monthly income in the range of $650 to $2,750 ($7,800 to $33,000 annually)
  • I am clean and sober prior to the time of entry and am willing to remain clean and sober for the duration of my stay

Financially I am able to pay:

  • A $100 deposit when I enter the program.
  • If my monthly income is $1,000 – $2,750, pay program fees of $150 per month for the first three months (months 1-3), $300 per month for the next three months (months 4-6), and $500 per month after that (months 7-24).
  • If my monthly income is $650 – $999, pay program fees of $100 per month for the first three months (months 1-3), $200 per month for the next three months (months 4-6), and $300 per month after that (months 7-24). This income tier and its associated program fees are currently being offered on a pilot basis, with limited availability.

As a participant in the program I agree to:

  • Pay my program fees monthly
  • Maintain my assigned community household chores
  • Attend all mandatory scheduled meetings
  • Respect others and work through conflicts as they arise
  • Live sober and submit to drug testing when required

To aid in my own success I commit to:

  • Meet regularly with my Case Manager
  • Set short and long term goals and actively work toward finding sustainable housing

I’m excited about the opportunity to:

  • Participate in professional, financial, and creative learning
  • Access employment, education, and financial planning resources
  • Build community and long-term relationships

I’m a returning former resident and:

  • I left in good standing with Jubilee
  • I meet the criteria and agree to the guidelines above

Providing inaccurate or incomplete information will disqualify you from the application process. Please fill out each section in full and to the best of your ability.

Want to tour Jubilee and apply in person? Stop by Jubilee’s main office (620 18th Ave E) for drop-in applicant sessions on Thursdays 11am to 2pm. All in one visit, you can tour the home, ask questions, fill out application paperwork, and interview.
