learn about housing issues

How does the larger community come together to address homelessness, an issue we all care about? Although many people are homeless and the issue can seem overwhelming, every single person helped matters immensely. Jubilee is an opportunity to take part in the solution.

Jubilee compliments King County’s 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness whose goal is “A roof over every bed in King County.” The Ten-Year Plan to End Homeless provides a blueprint for how the region will work together to confront the issues that cause homelessness and create the housing and supportive services needed to end homelessness. The 10-year plan is three-fold:
  1. Prevent homelessness
  2. Move people quickly to housing with supportive services
  3. Build the public and political will to end homelessness
